Toll highways are being built, named Cisumdawu stands 3 cities that crossed the toll highway is (Cileunyi - Sumedang - Dawuan) with a length of highway toll reaches 60.11 Km. toll highway construction purposes Cisumdawu are able to shorten the travel time between Bandung city - and the city of Cirebon, is the central government and the efforts of the provincial government of West Java in the development of West Java, especially Central and East Cirebon port development plans and international airport in the city Kertajati Majalengka.

Land required for the construction of Toll Cisumdawu assuming the right of way width approximately 60 m and a length of 60.11 Km is: 360.60 Ha, where the condition of land which exceeded Toll Cisundawu is mostly dry land / farm / field and some small villages.
divided into six (6) segments, namely:
- Cileunyi - Tanjungsari: 9.80 Km
- Tanjungsari - Sumedang: 17.51 Km
- Sumedang - Cimalaka: 3.73 Km
- Cimalaka - Legok: 6.96 Km
- Legok - Ujungjaya: 16.35 Km
- Ujungjaya - Kertajati: 4.00 Km

Sumedang regional development policy in support of the Toll Road Cisumdawu are:
- Development of residential locations in the area Sukasari, Tanjungsari, Pamulihan, Rancakalong and partly Cimanggung
- Development of industrial estates in the area Ujungjaya.
- Development of agriculture and tourism areas along the trajectory path of the highway toll Cisumdawu.
