Sunan Gunung Jati named Syarif Hidayatullah teak is one of the nine saints who spread Islam in the archipelago, was born around 1450 of a father bernamaSyarif Nur Alam bin Abdullah bin Jamaluddin Akbar, scholars of Gujarat, India. His mother named Syarifah Muda'im (Nyai Rara Santang) daughter of Maharaja Sri Baduka King Siliwangi of Nyai Subang Larang.
Astana Gunung Jati grave complex in the village of Astana, the District of North Cirebon Cirebon city is about 5 km. The total area of the complex is the tomb of ± 36 350 ha which consists of 23,010 ha of land and 13,340 ha of village palace
At the Tomb of Sunan Gunung Jati complex, there are nine layers of the door, which
- Lawang gate,
- Lawang Krapyak,
- Lawang Pasujuduan,
- Lawang Ratnakomala,
- Lawang Jinem,
- Lawang Rararoga,
- Lawang Glass,
- Lawang Bacem,
- Lotus mace.
Unfortunately, regular visitors can only enter through the door to the porch-four Pesambangan. In the complex there is a wall filled with ceramic-ceramic love of the land of China, a sign of the love of a daughter for the Sunan of Chinese nationality. ceramic called love because it keeps the romance between Sunan Gunung Jati with Princess Ong Tien, son of Emperor Hong Gie from the Ming Dynasty.

After some time married, at the age of Tien Ong's daughter died at the age of 23 years.
